You probably already know that you can add an IdeaScale application to your Facebook page to collect crowdsourced feedback and ideas within the popular social media site. Another way you can leverage Facebook is by using our newly introduced Like button. With the Like button, users can make connections to your pages and share content back to their friends on Facebook with one click. Since the content is hosted by Facebook, the button can display personalized content whether or not the user has logged into your site. For logged-in Facebook users, the button is personalized to highlight friends who have also Liked the page.
There are two placements for the Like button: If it’s clicked from the sidebar of an IdeaScale community (image on the left here) or anywhere other than on an idea, the Like button refers/links to the community. Like buttons on a specific idea are specific to that idea(see image below).
